Statistics and contracts
Statistics compares your recorded trips with the vehicle's odometer readings. Choose a vehicle, a year and optionally a month.
All figures are calculated in the local time of each trip, so a trip shortly after midnight on the 1st counts for the right month even if you look at it from another time zone.
Key figures
The tiles at the top show for the selected year:
- Driven according to the odometer readings, and how much of it is recorded as trips (coverage).
- Business share of the recorded kilometres.
- Reimbursement for business trips, if the vehicle has an employer mileage rate. Business trips without a rate are counted separately so you can complete them.
- Unexplained kilometres: driven according to the readings but without a recorded trip.
Mileage over time
The chart shows the kilometres per month as bars stacked by trip category (business, private, commute, unclassified). A hatched segment shows kilometres that were driven according to the readings but not matched to any trip. Hover over a bar for the breakdown.
Click a month to open its details: kilometres per category, odometer and recorded distance, and the reimbursement. Click a category to see its trips.
- Other drivers: trips of users you have shared the vehicle with count toward the recorded kilometres, so they do not appear as unexplained. For privacy only the total is shown, without destinations, routes or categories.
- Unexplained is not a trip category but the difference between the change in odometer reading and the recorded trips, so no individual trips can be listed.
The table Accuracy by reading interval compares actual and recorded kilometres between two readings. The shorter the intervals, the more precisely you can see where kilometres are missing.
Shared vehicles
For a vehicle that is shared with you, the statistics only show your own trips with it. Odometer readings, leasing data and the trips of other drivers are managed by the owner.
Leasing and financing
If the vehicle has a contract with start, end and mileage limit, the statistics show:
- the mileage driven so far and the pro-rata allowance as of today,
- a forecast for the end of the contract and its deviation from the limit,
- the expected additional payment or refund, if a rate per kilometre is set.
The figures are a forecast based on your readings and are indicative only; what you actually pay depends on your contract. Without a reading at the contract start, the mileage is extrapolated from the available readings.
