Setup and first sign-in (v0.6.0)
- A setup assistant guides the administrator through a new installation: password, server status, e-mail, geocoding, sign-in & privacy, a first vehicle and pairing the app. See installation.
- Users created by an administrator get a first sign-in assistant: own password, profile, linking Google/Microsoft, vehicles and the app. See sign-in.
- Gravatar is now switched in the administration;
GRAVATAR_ENABLEDis only the default until it has been saved there. SMTP stays in.env; the new E-mail tab shows the configuration and sends a test e-mail (SMTP_FROM_NAMEis new).
Monthly report (v0.6.0)
A monthly report on the first of each month by e-mail and as a page under Statistics › Monthly report: all vehicles, open trips waiting for a category and places visited for the first time. Each user can switch the e-mail off.
Trip editor (v0.6.3 – v0.6.10)
Correct route now opens the trip editor at /trip-editor/<id>:
- move, add and remove points on a full-size map; change start, destination, dates and times,
- gaps are routed along the road, so every added point steers the route – also without U-turns on dual carriageways,
- every point records its origin (measured, placed, generated); Recalculate route, Reset route and Reset all,
- undo and redo for every edit until saving; saving keeps you in the editor,
- a zoomable timeline with multiple selection,
- a plausibility check that marks jumps, spikes, inconsistent times, inaccurate points and jitter while stationary.
Trips (v0.6.2, v0.6.3)
- Add trips manually in the web dashboard, with address suggestions and Calculate distance along the road.
- Remove single GPS points in the trip details, with automatic outlier suggestions.
- Dawarich: connect your own Dawarich instance in the profile and fill gaps in trips from its location data.
See trips.
Map matching (v0.6.1, v0.6.3)
- Use map matching in the profile: when on, every uploaded trip is matched automatically.
- Each matched section is checked against the GPS track. If the routing service leaves out the start or end of a trip, the GPS track fills the gap; a section that cannot be matched no longer fails the whole trip.
- The dashboard loads much faster, because it uses a simplified preview of the road route.
More
- Employer mileage reimbursement: a default rate per vehicle, copied into business trips and shown in the statistics. See vehicles. (v0.6.1)
- Personal map style: OpenStreetMap, Light, Dark or Follow system. (v0.6.5)
- AI tab in the administration for Claude, OpenAI(-compatible) and Ollama. No feature uses AI yet. See AI providers. (v0.6.9)
- Shared vehicles appear in the co-driver's statistics with their own trips; every vehicle gets an initial ownership period. (v0.6.0)
- The web interface is fully translated into English and German.
Fixes
- Deleted trips showed an error and never listed archived trips. (v0.6.11)
- Opening a trip in the dashboard could crash the page. (v0.6.8)
- Changing a trip in a closed period now answers
409 TRIP_PERIOD_LOCKEDinstead of an error 500. - Manual route correction failed when writing the trip history.
- Creating a trip and the full trip update failed with a database type error.
api/openapi.ymlis a single valid document again.
Upgrade
Migrations run automatically. After the update:
- Existing installations count as set up, so the setup assistant does not open. Users who have signed in before do not see the first sign-in assistant either; only accounts that were never used get it.
- Run Administration › Background jobs › Map matching › Re-match all trips once, so existing trips are checked with the improved map matching.
- Update the Android app to 0.5.4.
