Welcome to Fahrtenbuch

Fahrtenbuch is a self-hosted vehicle trip log for recording GPS journeys, managing vehicles, reconciling odometer readings, and tracking contractual mileage.

This guide describes the v0.3.24 application release (build 137). The documentation itself is in English; the application offers German and English user-interface translations.

Highlights in v0.3.24​

  • Trip editing: select a route point to split a journey, review the split selection, or merge trips.
  • Localized interface: German and English translations across the dashboard, profile and vehicle screens.
  • Personal display formats: choose kilometres or miles, km/h or mph, European or US date display, and a 12-hour or 24-hour clock.
  • Session reliability: authenticated requests can retry with a refreshed access token after expiry.
  • Mobile usability: better trip list layout and scrollable trip details on smaller screens.
