Odometer readings

Record the actual odometer value to reconcile mileage against GPS-recorded trips. Readings can include the date and an exact reading time.

Intermediate readings help correct mileage estimates even when some trips were never tracked. Contract mileage calculations for leasing and financing should use actual readings when they are available.

The sum of recorded trips may differ from the vehicle's true odometer change.
